Vancouver-based junior Zodiac Gold, headed by David Kol, is relying on the expertise of ACA Howe International Limited to lead the exploration of the Todi gold project in Liberia. The Canadian mining company, advised by IAMGOLD CEO Renaud Adams, has appointed Tom Dowrick, director at ACE Howe International UK and Chartered Geologist through the Geological Society of London, as Exploration Manager, replacing Vice President Exploration Efdal Olcer. Mr. Dowrick has worked with Zodiac Gold since 2019, contributing as lead author of the latest NI 43-101 report.
He will work under the supervision of Douglas Cater, the Canadian junior's director-geologist. A former project manager at Sabina Gold Corp on the Back River project acquired in 2023 by B2Gold for around 820 million USD, Mr. Cater was also vice-president of St Andrew Goldfields acquired in 2016 by the Canadian Kirkland Lake Gold, joining the latter as vice-president exploration until 2019. Douglas Cater advises numerous Canadian exploration companies, including Sierra Metals, Mayfair Gold Corp and Prosper Gold.
